Motion Design
My primary specialty is motion design. What exactly is motion design, you ask? Simply put, professional motion designers like myself are artists who imagine and create traditional design elements and then bring them to life with movement using computer animation. This process involves envisioning a concept, writing a visual script and/or drawing a storyboard, designing a brand-appropriate look, using computer software to create, manipulate and animate 2D and 3D elements, and then pulling all of the pieces together in a final edited video product.
Cinematic Videography
I also specialize in full service videography with an eye for cinematic composition. Shooting projects with professional 4K equipment and a wide array of cinema prime lenses, I often employ a proprietary low-budget guerrilla filmmaking style that keeps the visual quality of the final product very high while managing to keep the budget reasonable. Often this means a very lean crew of one to three people that can allow for many fast camera set-ups in a short period of time.
Print & Web Design
With a decade and a half of agency experience, I’m also well-versed in traditional design. Over the years, I have created countless posters, brochures, product packaging, billboards, and website designs for clients large and small. And while web development has traditionally been divided into designers and coders, new online tools have allowed designers to create beautiful, functional sites entirely alone. Starting with a simple online template, I alter it beyond recognition so that your final website sparkles with custom graphics entirely unique to your brand.
